# Helpy

> Helpy is a free AI bookmark organizer for Google Chrome. It files the page you're on into the right folder of your bookmarks, sorts a whole bookmark library into a clean folder tree (with subfolders up to 4 levels deep), finds bookmarks by meaning with on-device AI search, and answers questions about any web page. It works with the AI you choose: OpenAI, Google Gemini (free key), Anthropic Claude, OpenRouter, a local model (Ollama, LM Studio) or Chrome's built-in AI. No account, no ads, no tracking, no servers of its own; API keys stay in the browser.

- Privacy: no backend, no analytics. Only what a task needs is sent, directly from the browser to the AI provider the user picked, and only when the user asks. With a local model or Chrome's built-in AI nothing leaves the computer.
- Nothing moves without approval: single pages are saved where the user chooses; bulk organize shows the full folder tree for review before any bookmark moves.
- Best tested models (October 2026): OpenAI gpt-6-luna (94/100, recommended), Google gemini-3.5-flash-lite (91/100), Anthropic claude-haiku-5-5 (89/100).
